Some “options” throughout the theme uses two different types of “settings”: Global Settings and its corresponding Page-Level Settings.
Global Settings and Page-Level Settings Example
Global Settings are the ones you set in the “Morphis Theme Options” page. These are the settings that affect all your pages. Or in other terms, it is a site-wide settable option. One example would be the Sidebar Layout option you can find under Morphis Theme Options > Global Posts Settings > Sidebar Layout.
The Sidebar Layout option lets you set the layout of the sidebar of every pages of your site. You can choose whether to use a Right Sidebar, Left Sidebar or Full Width w/ No Sidebar. And it will affect all your pages of your site.
On the other hand, the corresponding Page-Level Setting option of this, you can find under your “Add New/Edit” Post page:
Now, this Page-Level Settings Option will just be applied on that particular page you have set it with.
If for example, you have set the Sidebar Layout option from the Morphis Theme Options > Global Posts Settings to use Right Sidebar, then all your pages will have a right sidebar layout. However, you can make a new Post “Hello World” and set its Sidebar Layout to use Left Sidebar and it will be the only Post using the left sidebar layout.
