The Sidebar Manager is very useful when you want to have unique sidebar widgets on each page. Here’s how you to use the Sidebar Manager:
1.) The Sidebar Manager is basically a “creator” of “Sidebar Areas”. When we say “Sidebar Area”, this is the area where you put your widgets by dragging and dropping it into them. To create a “Sidebar Area” , navigate to “Sidebar Manager > Add new”.
2.) The only thing that we need to do to create a “Sidebar Area” is to give a name for that area. For example: “Contact Page Sidebar”
3.) Click the “Publish” button to create the “Sidebar Area”. Now, you have to go to the “Widgets Management” page by clicking “Appearance > Widgets” on the left side of the WordPress Dashboard panel.
4.) You’ll now see that the created “Sidebar Area” which is “Contact Page Sidebar” now appears as one of the areas which you can drag and drop widgets.
5.) In order to use this “Sidebar Area” on any of your page, you’ll need to select it from the drop-down menu selection on your “Add New/Edit” Post or Page in the option called “Unique Page Sidebar Settings” box.
6.) After you have selected the “Sidebar Area” you created from the Page Sidebar option under the “Unique Page Sidebar Settings”, click “Publish” to save your Post/Page.
